We are very pleased to offer 10 weekly Friday morning or afternoon classes with Ann through the Spring in our lovely building in the village of Llandogo. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are already working with Ann to continue with their personal development. Newcomers and beginners will be very welcome.

Art is inspiring; to be able to render form, to give shape to ideas, to bring into existence the illusion of reality through painting and drawing seems like magic. Some of it is magic, but the rest can be taught. The basic approach to it all, is seeing and applying relative measurement, learning perspective, foreshortening and handling space, and this is what we shall be applying on this course. Working with colour follows from basic drawing. Painting on this course can be in watercolour, acrylics or oil paint. Remember it is all to enjoy. There are stages as in everything and you can make good progress in a short space of time if you apply the basic formal elements. The course is a chance to try a new medium or mix media and is suitable for beginners or advanced students.

Ann specialises in using a structured approach to help students gain confidence.

Please come and join us for our Spring Friday sessions. The Centre has boards and easels but you are very welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Cost is £350 for ten sessions, morning (9.30 – 12.30pm) or afternoon (1 – 4pm). The dates are: January 10, 17, 24, 31; February 7, 14, 21, 28; March 7 & 14.
