Born in Staffordshire, Ann went to Junior Art School at 13 and then to Stoke-on-Trent Art College from 15, followed by a BA in Fine Art at Leicester Polytechnic. After teaching History of Art at Leicester Polytechnic, Ann decided to work part-time to concentrate on her own work.
She has had a broad range of teaching experience from degree level to Adult Education classes. Ann is a practising artist who exhibits widely.
